KASAA system was used to create a spatial, installation-like artwork for Habitare Design Competition.

“KASAA” is a system that enables the furniture to be assembled to the need. There is no material link, excluding attachments themselves, so things can be assembled from the material that is available.
Our need for being is changing, the same applies to the materials that we use around us. However, neither of these factors is outgoing, we will always need each other for togetherness and we will always need (some) material from which to put together the necessary things around us.
The system is simple fixtures that compress the parts together to create shape and frame for the furniture. Creating furniture is a time for being together, collecting and editing materials, assembling them together, to the moments using it/them. The system is about working together, gathering the materials, and the people
The system was verified by creating a table and a seat. In this case, the material used was industrially readily available wood. The squared wood can easily be replaced with metal, recycled plastic, something round, or something that has not yet been developed. The clamps themselves are made of threaded rod welded into a small piece of metal and the standard bolts tighten everything together.
In the place and time, we are now, it is logical to use wood. The same does not apply everywhere, nor to all ages. The use of the most logical material is variable, place, and time specific. The system allows some things to remain the same, some things to change.
KASAA is not centered around one furniture, neither there is one shape or appearance for human interactions. People differ from each other, as well as how we want to interact with each other.
